Eleanor Tomlinson consults her boyfriend before filming sex scenes with Aidan Turner.
The 22-year-old actress stars alongside the ‘Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ star in the BBC’s adaptation of ‘Poldark’ and her actor father Malcolm Tomlinson has revealed she likes to run their scenes past her boyfriend of a year to make sure he’s okay with them.
He shared: "She is very honest with him. She’ll say, ‘I’m doing this scene’, and if he’s worried about it, they talk about it. She is very upfront and honest."
Eleanor – who previously starred alongside ‘Godzilla’ actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson in ‘Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging – admits her new co-star has a "great body" but insists her boyfriend, who works in the film industry, isn’t too jealous about them getting up close and personal.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "He is immensely supportive and that’s great. He’s very proud."
The blonde beauty also confessed she’s "blown away" by how well the show is doing and is keeping her "fingers crossed" that it will return for a second series.
Meanwhile, her dad added that although she previously said the thought of watching her and Aidan’s intimate scenes in front of her him was "really embarrassing", they managed to laugh them off.
He said: "There was no hiding behind cushions."
