Educating Joey Essex to return for second series

‘Educating Joey Essex’ is set to return for a second series.
Joey Essex will bound onto screens later this year as he teams up with former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond to learn about Queen Elizabeth and her relatives in the next installment of his factual reality TV show.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Jennie – who has 14 years experience covering the monarch – said: "We were filming all day around Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and the Tower of London. I’ll be educating Joey about royalty, so that’s been fun."
The 66-year-old royal nerd had great fun teaching the former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star about Her Majesty, although she was shocked by his lack of knowledge.
Speaking about what it was like working with Joey, Jennie explained: "His knowledge was shaky … shaky would sum it up – but he’s a big admirer of the Queen … (he has a) shaky knowledge of who is who and who does what and there were a number of things that had me in fits of giggles."
‘Education Joey Essex’, which was initially supposed to be a one-off special focusing on the star’s trek around Africa, first hit screens in March 2014 but, due to high demand, was extended to a seven-episode series in June 2014.
During the first series, the 25-year-old hunk had viewers in hysterics as he was educated on various topics including space, football, Halloween, expeditions, modelling and the General Elections.
Meanwhile, it’s not yet known when ‘Educating Joey Essex’ is expected to hit screens, but it’s likely the programme is being made to tie in with the Queen’s official Birthday Celebrations in June.
‘Elizabeth II: Life of a Monarch’, a new audio-biography narrated by Jennie Bond, is available free with a 30-day trial atwww.audible.co.uk/HRH.
