Eddie Izzard happy for Prince William

Eddie Izzard has congratulated Prince William and Duchess Catherine on their baby news.
The 55-year-old comedian stars as Queen Victoria’s son Bertie in the new Stephen Frears film ‘Victoria and Abdul’ and has sent his best wishes to the royal coupe who announced they are expecting their third child earlier this week.
Eddie, who is by no means a royalist, says it’s "great" news and praised the couple – who already have four-year-old Prince George and two-year-old Princess Charlotte – for working through their brief split in 2007 and going on to do "interesting" and "positive things".
Speaking at the UK premiere of the movie at London’s Odeon in Leicester Square, he said: "I’m someone who, I judge people on what they do in life.
"Prince William and Harry, they’re doing very interesting things influenced by their late mother.
"Charlie [Prince Charles] is doing interesting things. I judge that.
"I’m not into hereditary privilege. That’s just not my bag.
"So if Prince William and Catherine are having another baby, that’s great. I love them, they separated and then came back together – that’s a very real thing. We’re looking for reality, for compassion, for positivity, for diversity
"Hereditary privilege gets in way of that but if they”re using it in a positive way, then I salute that."
A whole host of stars have sent their well-wishes to the royal couple since they made the big announcement on Monday (04.09.17).
Cheryl Tweedy was delighted to learn the news.
She tweeted: "Awww congratulations to Will and Kate on their baby news !! 3rd royal baba on its way (sic)"
‘Good Morning Britain’ presenter Susanna Reid was also thrilled.
She posted: "Congratulations! Happy baby news."
Meanwhile, Prince Harry revealed that he is "very, very happy" for his brother and sister-in-law.
He told reporters: "[It’s] fantastic, great. Very, very happy for them."
While Kensington Palace revealed Catherine is once again suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum – an extreme form of acute morning sickness – when they announced her pregnancy, Harry reassured well-wishers she is doing "OK".
He said: "I haven’t seen her for a while but I think I she’s OK."
