Ed Sheeran doesn’t get angry

Ed Sheeran hasn’t been "really angry" for at least five years.
The ‘Shape of You’ singer hasn’t inherited the fiery temper of his father and brother and admits his temperament is more like his mother’s, who takes a long time to snap, but when she does it’s explosive.
He said: "I’d say my dad is number one in my life in terms of influence and advice. But I don’t have his temper, I have my mum’s temper. My brother Matthew has my dad’s temper.
"Me and my mum, once in two years we’ll snap and the temper will come up.
"My dad and brother have very short fuses.
"Every now and then there’s one thing [for me]. If on a scale of 100, my dad’s temper is a 10 on a daily basis and he’ll snap, my mum when she snaps will be like 110. And you don’t want to go there.
"To be honest, I don’t know the last time I was really angry, not within the past five years."
The 26-year-old singer admits he has some "strong" opinions but thinks it is important not to air them in public as he isn’t as informed as he could be about big issues.
Asked the best advice his dad has given him, he told Britain’s OK! magazine: "For the music industry, don’t talk about religion or politics. And it’s working.
"I have my own views I feel strongly about. I’m a 26-year-old boy who doesn’t really spend a lot of time watching the news or reading the newspapers.
"Therefore, my opinion is not as educated as it could be. So I’m keeping my mouth shut."
