Ed Sheeran chowed down on jerk before final show of the year

Ed Sheeran filled up on Caribbean jerk dishes before his final concert of the year at Dubai’s Autism Rocks Arena on Thursday (23.11.17).
The 26-year-old megastar enjoyed the tasty meal at Rihanna’s favourite joint Miss Lily’s, which is located at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in the city.
According to The National, the ‘Shape of You’ singer – who claimed he and his support act on the US leg, James Blunt, devoured 1,000 chicken wings between them on the road – ordered jerk corn, hot pepper shrimp and jerk chicken.
During his two-hour performance at the arena, Ed told the crowd he "didn’t expect to be on stage" after his cycling accident last month which saw him break both his arms.
However, the ‘Castle on the Hill’ hitmaker said the accident hasn’t put him off wanting to ride again because there was nothing about the painful incident that could have been prevented.
Asked if he has a phobia of bicycles now, he said recently: "No, I think that’s the wrong way to live. I’m going to ride bicycles again, I’m going to ski, I’m going to go on skateboards.
" If I’m going to break my arm then I’m going to break my arm, nothing’s going to stop me from having accidents."
It’s been a stellar year for Ed following the release of his record-breaking album ‘Divide’, which made him the first artist to ever hold all top five positions in the Official UK Chart, with all 16 of the tracks from the album, including ‘Shape of You’ and ‘Castle on the Hill’, making it into the top 20.
In 2018, the flame-haired star will continue his hectic touring schedule around the world, kicking off with four consecutive nights at London’s Wembley Stadium from January 14 to 17, before heading to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and beyond.
