‘Eating a cow’s eyeball seems like nothing’: Caitlyn Jenner talks Celeb jungle

Caitlyn Jenner joked the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ jungle was easier to cope with than the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 70-year-old reality TV star competed in the last season of the ITV reality TV show and quipped that eating a cow’s eyeball was preferable to dealing with the global health crisis.

Speaking to former campmate Kate Garraway on ‘Good Morning Britain’, she said: "I have talked to James [Haskell] and Jacqueline [Jossa] through this whole thing and the jungle was sounding very good. It was not easy to go through but dealing with a bunch of crickets and having to eat a cow’s eyeball considering what the world, not just us, is going through right now, seems like nothing. It was a great experience to go through, the best part [of the jungle], I met some great friends like yourself. We just have to get through his thing right now."

Caitlyn also joked that Kate was "the first interviewer I’ve ever slept and showered with" as the campmates caught up on live TV.

She quipped: "You are the first interviewer that I’ve ever done that with, that I’ve slept with and showered with. Kate, you and I have done it all! You know way too much about me. I just want to know if I’m the first guest you’ve ever slept with and showered with? Maybe you shouldn’t answer that!"

And Caitlyn revealed she was in London when the pandemic started progressing and she decided to fly back to the USA in case she got stranded abroad.

She explained: "When this whole thing came down, I was actually in London when the quarantine started. Boy this was a long time ago now, I snuck out, I had to leave two days early. I came back to here, to the US, I had no idea what we were going to be going through, it’s just been so difficult on so many people. This is honestly one of the first things I’ve done since this whole thing started. It’s been tough, tough on a lot of people."
