EastEnders actress Tanya Franks shares great chemistry with Ricky Champ

‘EastEnders’ star Tanya Franks loves working with her co-star Ricky Champ because the pair have such great chemistry as lovers Rainie Branning and Stuart Highway.
The 52-year-old actress alter ego has found romance with 39-year-old Ricky’s character and after Rainie and Stuart’s difficult beginnings in Albert Square she is delighted that they have found solace in one another.
Tanya and Ricky have developed a great working relationship and she thinks that transmits to television screens judging by the reaction from the BBC One soap’s fans.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz at the Best Heroes Awards held at The Bloomsbury Hotel in London on Tuesday night (15.10.19), she said: "Rainie’s an amazing character and I’ve been going in and out of that show for 12 years and she never ceases to surprise me and she constantly challenges me. She’s great for me to explore and play.
"Everybody, bar no one, has said how much they love the Rainie / Stewart scenario, in work and outside of work actually. We love working together and we seem to have some kind of chemistry so it’s great."
Tanyah has warned viewers not to get their hopes up for a happy ending for the couple because more often than not misery is just around the corner for the residents of Walford.
She added: "Who knows if we’ll have a happy ending, it’s ‘EastEnders’! Who knows what’s going to happen, it’s always a mixture of happiness and sadness with them."
