Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a friend’s wedding after returning home from New York.
The royal couple enjoyed a tour of the Big Apple earlier this month, which saw them take in an NBA basketball game and meet Jay Z and Beyonce.
And they were guests at the wedding ceremony upon their return home, which was staged at Chelsea Old Church near the River Thames.
The church is located on the same road as the London home of the Duchess’s family, where the 32-year-old royal lived with her sister Pippa Middleton after graduating from St Andrews University.
The couple’s attendance at the wedding comes shortly after it was suggested that the Duchess – who is currently pregnant with her second child and has been dealing with severe morning sickness – is avoiding some of Prince William’s party-loving friends.
Over the last 12 months, the Duchess – who was known as Kate Middleton prior to her marriage to Prince William in 2011 – has been absent from her husband’s side on eight major occasions, including four weddings and two holidays.
She also missed the christening of Zara Phillips’s daughter Mia.
