Duke and Duchess in awe of beautiful Taj Mahal

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in awe of the "beautiful" Taj Mahal on their recent visit to India.
The royal couple had their own personal tour of the famous landmark – which is also referred to as "the monument of love" – on Saturday (16.04.16) with Prince William overjoyed to learn of the "romance" of the marble mausoleum situated on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra.
Asked by reporters what the trip meant to them, the 33-year-old royal said: "It’s a beautiful place, stunning designs in there."
And Catherine – the mother of their two children Prince George, two, and 11-month-old Princess Charlotte – added: "It’s been really incredible to learn about the romance of the building, and really beautiful architecture."
Catherine and William also took a trip down memory lane by sitting on a bench, which the late Princess Diana had sat on, on her trip there in 1992.
The chosen tour guide, Rizwan Mohammed, also told of how Catherine was thrilled to visit such a romantic place ahead of their fifth wedding anniversary on April 29.
The 35-year-old local – who was picked out by the British High Commission to guide them – said: "She was quite happy about it."
William previously revealed India was the "first" destination Catherine wanted to visit as a married couple.
He previously said: "When Catherine and I were married, India was the first place on Catherine’s list that she told me that she wanted to visit. Two children and five years later we are finally here."
