Dua Lipa announces world tour dates

Dua Lipa has announced the full schedule for her 2025 ‘Radical Optimism Tour’.

The pop star previously confirmed the shows will start in Asia in November 2024 but has now announced there will then be a break before she returns to the stage to kick off the 2025 shows in Australia in March before heading to Europe and North America.

Dua, 29, announced the shows in a post on Instagram, writing: “‘Radical Optimism Tour’ 2025. They said ‘Miss 2022 Dua’. Well I’ll be hauling a** for the foreseeable future and I can’t wait to bring this show to you.”

The singer will tour Asia in November with shows in Singapore, the Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand, and will then return in March for performances in Australia and New Zealand.

The tour will then head to Europe in May and June covering cities including Madrid, Spain, Lyon, France, Hamburg, Germany, Amsterdam, Netherlands and Milan, Italy before she lands back on home soil for two massive shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 20 and 21.

Her other UK date will be a stop in Liverpool and she will play a show in Dublin, Ireland before taking the tour across the Atlantic in September for dates in Canada and North America.

The North American leg kicks off in Toronto, Canada on September 1 and will take in cities including Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, New York, Miami and Dallas before concluding in Seattle on October 16.

Dua headlined the UK’s famous Glastonbury Festival this summer and went on to announce her shows at London’s Wembley Stadium for 2025.

She said in a statement: “There couldn’t be a better time to share this with you all! I am still flying high from the magic of headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this weekend, and I am absolutely thrilled to announce I’ll be playing Wembley Stadium this time next year.”

A source later added to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Dua still can’t believe she gets to headline Wembley Stadium.

“She wants to make it feel like a giant disco and make sure everyone has the best seat in the house.

“Walking through the crowd during one of her songs allows her to feel intimate with her fans while performing to 80,000 of them.”
