Bella Hadid’s new romance with Drake has apparently caused a rift between the rapper and The Weeknd.
The 21-year-old model and the ‘Hotline Bling’ hitmaker are rumoured to have begun dating in June, but the world-famous duo have kept their relationship under the radar.
Now, sources claim Bella is causing friction between Drake and fellow musician The Weeknd, who dated the model for almost two years until they split in November 2016.
The insider told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column said: "They both hang in the same Toronto crew and now they’re having to pick sides. The Weeknd performed and people on Drake’s side were like, ‘I can’t show up to that … Got to have allegiance.’
"They aren’t getting along right now … The groups are beefing because [Drake] broke the bro code. They 100 percent hooked up."
Drake threw a lavish bar mitzvah-themed bash to mark his 31st birthday on Monday [23.10.17] , but neither the ‘I Feel It Coming’ singer and Bella were spotted at the party.
Meanwhile, Bella previously admitted that her break-up from the ‘Starboy’ hitmaker will always weigh heavy on her heart because it was her first proper split.
The brunette beauty said that while she may have outwardly appeared to have coped with their split, the break-up left her feeling heartbroken.
She insisted though, that she and The Weeknd – who is now dating Selena Gomez – still remain on good terms.
Bella previously said: "As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily. It’ll be hard for a while.
"Love hurts, but you have to pull through. There’s no awkwardness between us."
