Dr Alex George sheds tears for coronavirus patients

Dr. Alex George has "shed a tear" after witnessing people his own age dying of coronavirus.
The 29-year-old doctor admitted he tends to come home after working on the NHS frontline and cries after watching young adults lose their lives to the deadly respiratory disease.
Speaking on ‘Good Morning Britain’, he confessed: "I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t shed a tear coming home."
The former ‘Love Island’ star is also finding it extremely tough living alone as he chose to stay away from his girlfriend Amelia Bath to protect her from the virus.
He previously said: "My shift is now finished and I am just heading home. It’s been again a busy shift – I know I keep saying this but it is the truth.
"I am feeling alright, I am tired. One of the challenges is that I am away from my girlfriend. I made the decision that I didn’t want to risk giving it to her or her family, so I am up in London staying on my own – isolating and she is staying elsewhere so I don’t give it to her.
"That is difficult when you have a busy shift like today you want to go home and sit and chat with someone and just hang out with someone to relax after what happened, it’s hard when you can’t and you are on your own."
However, his colleagues at Lewisham Hospital have set up a support group to encourage each other to share their feelings during the unprecedented period.
Alex told the ITV morning show: "It’s important to share what you are feeling, especially men are sometimes afraid of sharing their emotions, we all need to open up and share how we are feeling."
The brave doctor is risking his life while he treats those who have been infected with the virus, but is happy to continue working after taking the Hippocratic oath to always help people in need.
He added: "There are some risks here, but I signed up to this and I’ll do my best.
"Consultants who have worked for 20/30 years have said they have never seen anything like it before."
