Diana Vickers wants to star in a British version of ‘Sex and the City’.
The former ‘X Factor’ wannabe is set to make her TV acting debut in tonight’s (14.10.14) Comedy Central sitcom ‘Give Out Girls’, and the 23-year-old beauty admits she would love to follow in the footsteps of Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall by making a London-based version of the US romantic sitcom.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I have things potentially in the pipeline which is great.
"I’d love to do a version of ‘Sex and the City’ but in the UK, like a bunch of London girls in the city.
"I love ‘The Inbetweeners’ as well, I’d love to be in something like that, I find that absolutely hilarious. There’s just so much great TV out there at the moment."
Diana stars as promotions girl Gemma in ‘Give Out Girls’ alongside Kerry Howard (Marilyn), Miranda Hennessy (Zoe) and Cariad Lloyd (Poppy), and admitted one of her favourite aspects of filming the show was being able to wear some crazy outfits.
She added: "I guess dressing up in a bright orange outfit and when we had to dress up in these crazy flamingo skirts, and then I had to be in like a giant nut outfit but I actually loved it.
"It was very sweaty inside the nut outfit and my little head was poking out but I really quite enjoyed it."
