Dennis Wise out of I’m A Celebrity… camp

Dennis Wise has been voted off ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The former footballer was in the bottom two alongside Amir Khan but then heard he had received the lowest number of public votes and left the camp.
And speaking to hosts Ant & Dec afterwards, he admitted the meagre "rations" and occasional days without food made his stint a "hardcore" experience.
He said of his time in the jungle: "Parts of it [were what I expected], but people don’t realise the rations you get, and I mean rations.
"And if you don’t get any stars you go a whole day through to the next night, it’s hardcore."
Dennis, Amir and Jamie Lomas have come under fire for their treatment of campmate Iain Lee, with the 50-year-old sportsman criticised for telling the former ’11 O’Clock Show’ star not to do a trial after he previously quit on two tasks.
But Dennis insisted it was nothing personal towards the comic, he was simply thinking about food.
He said: "It was only because… he said ‘Get Me Out Of Here’ twice…. at the first trial you’re not worried but then when they haven’t done it twice, you begin to think, ‘We do need to eat.’ "
However, he then suggested Iain had acted deliberately to "promote" himself.
He added: "But the next day Iain did the trial and I realised that there are people in there that want to promote themselves.
"When it came to yesterday – and I listened to Iain’s letter and I listened to Jamie’s – I realised then ‘Iain, go and do that trial tomorrow’, because you need to get the air time…
"There’s nothing wrong with that."
