Denise Welch never wants to see Michael Madsen again

Denise Welch "hated every minute" of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and never wants to see fellow contestant Michael Madsen ever again.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist infamously clashed with the ‘Reservoir Dogs’ star during their 2012 stint on the reality TV show, and the former ‘Waterloo Road’ actress insists she would cross the road if she saw the 60-year-old actor approaching her because she has no desire to ever interact with him.
When asked if she ever patched up her differences with Michael, she replied: "No. I’d never want to see Michael Madsen again in my entire life and I’d cross the street if I saw him.
"I haven’t stayed in touch with anyone from ‘Big Brother’ but I’d be delighted if I saw Natalie [Cassidy], Kirk [Norcross] or Romeo again but it wasn’t a great time in my life.
"I hated every minute of it. I like watching the show, not being in it."
Denise was reduced to tears when Michael called her "emotionally disturbed" while the pair were inside the famous abode.
During face-to-face nominations, he said: "I can’t stand another minute in this house with Denise, I am not the source of this argument … she is.
"I feel she is emotionally disturbed and like she said it’s either me or her."
Before the comment, Michael and Denise, 60, had clashed on several occasions.
Denise has now admitted her career in showbusiness has taught her that it is "more important" to be nice to people than be seen as a person of great significance.
When asked what lessons she has learnt throughout her career, she replied: "It’s nice to be important but it’s more important to be nice."
Denise recently admitted she would consider reprising her role as Coronation Street’s Natalie Barnes – if the right storyline came about.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "When you leave the job you leave it. I would never say never about going back but they’ve never asked me back and I’ve never asked to go back.
"Because I’ve been very fortunate and I’ve worked since I left, and I left through my own choice.
"But if there was a great storyline or something, of course. But I quite like my life as it is, and I’m doing this show [‘Calendar Girls’] for nine months, I’m doing ‘Loose Women’, I’ve got a novel coming out.
"It’s not like there is any room for anything in the foreseeable future."
