Dawn Ward says husband Ashley sits down to use toilet

Dawn Ward’s husband Ashley Ward sits down on the toilet when he has a pee at home.
The ‘Real Housewives of Cheshire’ star has revealed that the retired football player has abandoned the male way of standing to pass urine so that their bathroom remains hygienic when he wees.
Dawn opened up on her man’s toilet habits during a heated debate about the use of unisex toilets in the UK on ‘This Morning’.
When talking about the different genitalia each gender has and the fact that women have to sit on a toilet to pee, Dawn said: "No, my husband sits down [on the toilet]. It’s all down to hygiene, you know, you say about men, I’ve been in lots of ladies toilets that don’t smell very nice."
Dawn insisted she does not see a problem with men and women sharing the same toilets and she will often seek out a men’s cubicle if there’s a queue for the women’s loos.
She added: "I know for a fact that I never sit on the toilet I squat because I don’t find that they’re cleaned enough.
"I think people are frightened to change and I don’t see what the problem is. What is the big deal with going into the same toilet as a man? I actually go in the men’s toilets, I don’t wait around in the queues I just slip myself into the men’s toilets."
Dawn thinks the opposition to unisex public toilets is because people are just used to having loos divided by gender.
She said: "We’re in the 21st century, move on. I think it is quite sexist. It’s no big deal. Ladies leave the toilet up. Ladies pee over the seat. Ladies toilets still stink. Improve the hygiene and get over it."
