David Tennant hints at a Doctor Who return

David Tennant has hinted he could return for ‘Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary.
The 46-year-old actor starred as the Time Lord from 2005 until 2010, and though his career has since moved in another direction, David has suggested he’d be willing to consider a return to mark the occasion.
The British star – who made an appearance in the 50th anniversary special in 2013 – told the Radio Times: "They are exciting those episodes, but I think you have to be careful not to do them too often. They have to be a novelty. The 50th was a great thing to be a part of.
"When’s the 60th? Will we still be upright? Maybe then."
This comes shortly after Matt Smith – another former Doctor – admitted he almost declined the chance to play the time-travelling character.
Matt, 35, confessed to having a "wobble" after he was offered one of the most sought-after roles on British TV.
He shared: "I was like, ‘I don’t think I’m going to do it’. My agent said, ‘You’re going to do it.’"
Matt found the show to be a huge professional challenge due to the "gargantuan number of lines" that he needed to learn, but the actor doesn’t look back with any regrets.
Matt – who played the role from 2010 until 2014 – explained: "It’s the greatest part of my life. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I loved every minute of it."
