David Bowie’s Blackstar transforms into galaxy in sunlight

David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’ album turns into a galaxy when it’s exposed to sunlight.
The late music icon – who passed away in January at the age of 69 after a secret battle with cancer – left his fans a "parting gift" before his death by releasing his final album and it has now been found that he left another surprise for those who bought the vinyl version of his 25th studio album.
Users of image-sharing website Imgur discovered that when the sleeve is put into the sun the black star turns into a "starfield".
One fan posted a photo of the cover to Imgur with the caption: "A friend discovered that if you expose the Blackstar gatefold to sunlight a starfield appears. What a beautiful secret (sic)"
The ‘Starman’ hitmaker’s long-time producer and friend Tony Visconti has stated that Bowie planned the release and the content of the album around his own demise.
He previously said: "He always did what he wanted to do.
And he wanted to do it his way and he wanted to do it the best way. His death was no different from his life – a work of Art. He made ‘Blackstar’ for us, his parting gift. I knew for a year this was the way it would be. I wasn’t, however, prepared for it. He was an extraordinary man, full of love and life. He will always be with us. For now, it is appropriate to cry."
The legendary artist also released the music video for the song ‘Lazarus’ from the record, which many believe was Bowie’s way of telling us he was dying as it was released a few days before his death on January 10.
The lyrics "look up here, I’m in heaven/I’ve got scars that can’t be seen" predict his death.
