David Beckham reveals his fears for Brooklyn

David Beckham felt "worried" about his son Brooklyn moving to New York to attend university.
The 18-year-old photographer – who is the son of the retired soccer star and fashion designer Victoria Beckham – travelled to the Big Apple earlier this year to begin his studies at Parsons School of Design, and David has now confessed to fretting over his eldest son leaving their family home in London.
The 42-year-old star – who also has Romeo, 15, Cruz, 12, and Harper, six, with his wife – said: "When you have children – young children and older children going to university in America – you are of course concerned and worried."
What’s more, David admitted to being nervous about how the current political climate will impact his children.
Looking to the future, David told the Evening Standard newspaper: "What are their lives going to be like? That’s my main concern."
Victoria, 43, previously revealed she hadn’t been able to stop crying since her son left for America.
In September, the singer-turned-designer said: "I’m still crying, Brooklyn’s moved to New York, he’s 18, and I haven’t stopped crying. I miss him so much, so much."
Meanwhile, Brooklyn previously admitted he had already attracted a few "fangirls" on his university campus.
The teenage heartthrob – who is dating actress Chloe Grace Moretz – revealed he’d quickly developed a team of female admirers after making the switch from London to New York.
Brooklyn shared: "I like people from school but there are a few fangirls in the school … Sometimes, I have to be like, ‘I’m going to be with you for like, four years, so chill’.
"I mean, it’s gotten better. They understand and they respect it, but it’s just at the beginning, it’s such a shock to them, so it’s fine."
