Danny Miller ‘thrilled’ for Mark Jordon

Danny Miller "couldn’t be more thrilled" for Mark Jordon after he was cleared of attacking a pensioner.
The ‘Emmerdale’ actor – who plays Aaron Sugden-Dingle in the ITV soap – says his former co-star is "such a lovely man" and he is happy he can now "rebuild [his] life" following a "horrendous ordeal".
Mark was found not guilty of affray, unlawful wounding and assault by beating, following a row in a pub beer garden.
Danny tweeted: "Couldn’t be more thrilled for such a lovely man.
Justice, finally. So happy for him and his family, who can now begin to rebuild their lives following such a horrendous ordeal! (sic)"
Danny’s comments come after Mark was cleared at Minshull Street Crown Court in Manchester yesterday (06.08.19).
Mark’s fiancee, ‘Emmerdale’ star Kerry Wyatt – who plays Laura Norton – was said to be in tears in the public gallery.
Following the verdict, the former ‘Heartbeat’ star said: "I really am grateful to the jury for proving my innocence and especially for proving the innocence of my loved ones, who’ve had to endure this awful ordeal with me this last year.
"I’m looking forward to getting back to our engagement and my career, which has been on hold."
Several of Mark’s former Dales co-stars took to Twitter to write "justice" following the verdict.
Lucy Pargeter – who portrays Chas Dingle – tweeted: "justice"
Samantha Giles (Bernice Blackstock) wrote: "Justice at last!!!!! (sic)"
Mark confirmed he had departed his ‘Emmerdale’ role as Daz Spencer in early February, by taking to Twitter to admit he will "miss working with" his fiancée Laura, and Daisy Campbell (Amelia Spencer).
In response to a fan who said he enjoys the "on-screen chemistry" between the trio, Mark replied: "I’ll deffo miss working with them (sic)"
