Danny John-Jules fires back at Strictly critic

Danny John-Jules has hit back at critics claiming he is arrogant.
The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star – who was eliminated from the BBC ballroom competition earlier this month – has fired back at online trolls criticising his attitude on the programme.
Responding to one Twitter user who claimed he "struggled" to earn the votes, Danny replied: "What didn’t you like about mine, compared to everyone else’s ‘Personality’ and ‘Arogance’…. (sic)"
Another viewer tweeted the ‘Red Dwarf’ actor to complain about his recent no-show on ‘Strictly’ spin-off show ‘It Takes Two’, and he dismissed their post.
He simply wrote: "Who’s the bigger fool, the fool or the fool that follows him."
Danny failed to appear for his exit interview on November 12, and while presenter, Zoe Ball, said she was "disappointed", his pro partner Amy Dowden admitted she was "proud" of the ‘Death in Paradise’ star for his time in the competition.
Speaking on the programme, she said: "I’m so proud of Danny. He is such a talented performer.
"Danny, you belong there and I hope to see you on the stage performing very soon."
Earlier in the day, the ‘Red Dwarf’ star took to social media to tweet a thank you message to Amy – after losing out in a dance-off against Graeme Swann and Oti Mabuse.
Meanwhile, the BBC previously issued a statement after reports claiming Danny would not be invited back for the final.
The broadcaster clarified: "Every year, all of our celebrities are invited back for the grand final at the end of the series. This year is no different, and we look forward to reuniting them all once more."
