Danny O’Donoghue is hoping to find love on Tinder.
The 34-year-old singer admitted he has downloaded the dating app onto his phone, and although he is yet to use it, hopes it may lead to him meeting a long-term partner.
He said: "I’m on Tinder. I have it downloaded on my phone, I just haven’t set it up yet. I think it would be really funny to just go on there and see what it is."
The handsome crooner was in a relationship with 30-year-old model Irma Mali for four years until their split in 2012, and he now wants to find another girlfriend to settle down with.
He added: "I would like to have something long term. Although I am happy being single, it’s not like I’m out having one-night stands."
The Script frontman also worries about meeting prospective lovers as he believes possible suitors think they already know everything about him.
Speaking to the Metro newspaper, the ‘No Good In Goodbye’ hitmaker explained: "I definitely come pre-introduced if they have read some story about me. It’s imaginary baggage which a lot of the time isn’t true.
"They might get this warped view of me as being someone whop is a fashion photographer who likes boxing and I want to beat up Jarvis Cocker and I hate The X Factor – which is all wrong.
"I’m actually a really easy going guy. I don’t hate anything and I quite like life, you know?"
