Danny Dyer to return to EastEnders next week?

Danny Dyer is expected to return to ‘EastEnders’ next week.
The 39-year-old actor left the soap temporarily last month for a well-deserved break but he’s set to reprise his role as the loveable pub landlord Mick Carter as early as Monday (27.03.17) as he’s needed for a number of scenes at the start of the week.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Everyone is looking forward to having a refreshed Danny back on the show. He’s a big character on and off the set and his absence was really noticeable. Danny has taken some time out and is raring to go again. He’ll be required for scenes from the start of next week."
Although he’s been asked to return to the set in a few days’ time, the hunk’s exit scene, which was written at the last minute, has only just hit screens as his alter-ego jetted off to Bulgaria upon hearing the news that his daughter Nancy (Maddy Hill) had been hit by a car while travelling with her boyfriend Tamwar Masood (Himesh Patel).
It’s believed Danny’s co-stars are planning to throw him a welcome back party once he returns to the set because they know how hard he’s been working recently.
An insider said: "They’re keen to show everyone is behind him 100 per cent after his tough few months. They’re planning a round of applause when he steps back behind the bar for filming for the first time.
"The cast know how important Danny is to the show’s success and don’t want it to be awkward. Danny will be welcomed back with open arms."
Danny jetted off for a holiday to South Africa recently after his friends claimed he was exhausted after working non-stop since joining the show in 2013.
An insider said at the time: "Danny knows he has to rest-up and recuperate. He has been ground down by the workload on ‘EastEnders’ and then partying on top of it.
"This trip is going to do him the world of good. He can remain anonymous there and he can properly rest. He’s hoping to come back refreshed and back into work."
His decision to have a rest from filming came five months after he tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart Joanne Mas in a romantic ceremony in Hampshire.
The couple may have only just got hitched officially but they have been together since 1992 and have children Danni, 19, Sunnie, nine and Arty, two, together.
