Danny Dyer related to Queen Elizabeth II

Danny Dyer is reportedly related to Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II.
The ‘EastEnders’ actor makes the surprising discovery on a forthcoming episode of BBC’s genealogy documentary series ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ where he allows researchers to delve into his family history only to find the "flabbergasting" connection.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "People will be flabbergasted to discover the famous royal Danny is descended from. When he found out he could hardly believe it himself. It makes for some gripping television."
The 38-year-old star – who grew up in London’s East End – has admitted he only wanted to go on the show to "freak a few people out".
Danny – who plays Cockney hard-man Mick Carter in ‘EastEnders – grew up in London’s Canning Town and started his movie career at the age of 16 in 1993.
He was discovered while at school by an agent who invited him to audition for the part of Martin Fletcher in the crime series ‘Prime Suspect 3’.
Over the years, he has appeared in several violent dramas such as ‘A Touch of Frost’, ‘Thief Takers’ and ‘Soldier Soldier’.
Meanwhile, the new series of ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ will see a whole host of stars discover their past.
Pop beauty Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Amanda Holden, legendary actor Sir Ian McKellen and newsreader Sophie Raworth are among those lined up.
But that’s not all as ‘Royle Family’s Ricky Tomlinson, Warwick Davis, presenter Liz Bonnin, comedian Greg Davies and actress Sunetra Sarker have also agreed to take part.
It promises to be one of the most intriguing series yet.
The source explained: "With heartbreak and laughter, intrigue and surprise, they react to remarkable ancestors including freedom fighters, criminals, war heroes and bigamists."
