Danniella Westbrook is engaged after a whirlwind romance.
The former ‘EastEnders’ actress has reportedly agreed to marry martial arts fighter Tom Richards after he proposed while they were on a romantic break after just two months together.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The proposal took Danniella by surprise. She’s over the moon. They booked a romantic break to Palma and Tom thought it was the perfect opportunity to show her how much she meant to him.
"It was a beautiful proposal as he went down on one knee by the pool as the sun was setting.
"Danniella instantly said yes and burst into tears. She can’t wait to get back to the UK and show off her diamond ring."
The 40-year-old actress will have to wait to get married to her 24-year-old fiance though, with her divorce from estranged husband Kevin Jenkins – with whom she has a 12-year-old daughter Jody B – still ongoing.
The couple split in January after 12 years together, and Kevin was her second husband following a brief marriage to van driver Ben Morgan in the 1990s.
