Danielle Lloyd thought pregnancy was sickness bug

Danielle Lloyd has confirmed her pregnancy – and has admitted she initially thought she was suffering with a stomach bug.
The 33-year-old former glamour model thought she had been struck down with a sickness virus over the festive season last year because her sons Archie, six, Harry, five, and George, three, whom she has with her ex-husband Jamie O’Hara, had picked up the illness from school but was thrilled when she found out her uneasy stomach was down to the fact and her fiancé Michael O’Neill are expecting their first child together.
In an interview with the new issue of OK! magazine, she explained: "I’d been falling ill over Christmas but didn’t think much of it as the boys had had stomach bugs. Then my period was late so I decided to take a test and it was positive. Me and Michael are over the moon; I’m due towards the end of summer."
Although it only took the couple two months to conceive, the brunette beauty has admitted she was starting to feel disheartened because she didn’t get pregnant straight away.
She said: "We stopped using contraception in September last year. We’d been trying for a few months and kept getting really discouraged when the tests were negative. So we decided to stop trying and just enjoy ourselves before Christmas, and bam, I’m pregnant. In January I realised my period was late which was unusual as I’m really regular. Michael told me not to get my hopes up but when I did the test it was positive."
The pair – who began dating in September 2015 – are planning to find out the sex of their little one once they hit the 16-week mark but are happy with either a boy or girl.
Danielle explained: "We can’t find out [the sex] until 16 weeks. Michael’s convinced it’s a girl but I’m not sure. Initially I thought I’d love a little girl but now I’m pregnant I know that whatever we have, because it’s mine and Michael’s first, it will be special."
The couple were planning to get married this year after they got engaged 11 months ago but they have decided to push back the wedding until next year because the reality TV star doesn’t want to be a "pregnant bride" when she walks down the aisle.
She said: "I wouldn’t want to be a pregnant bride. Maybe in 2018 and we’ll definitely go abroad to get married, something small and intimate."
Danielle has celebrated her pregnancy by re-creating the photos Beyoncé posed for to announce she and her husband Jay Z are expecting twins together.
