Daniella Westbook is attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
The former ‘Eastenders’ star will attend the group rehabilitation sessions for three months in a bid to tackle her "dangerous" addiction after she started taking cocaine again in April following an argument her now ex-boyfriend Tom Richards.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I do need help. I don’t have a choice.
"I’m going back to meetings. I’m in London a lot so there is no excuse and I need to go at least five times a week.
"Therapy will help me massively. I know it will. The intervention has happened and now I can move forward."
Danniella, 40 – who was warned in the late 1990s she would die within two weeks if her habit continued at the same rate and continued to take the drug when she was pregnant with her daughter Jody B, now 12, in 2001 – has vowed to stay clean for the sake of her children.
The actress – who also has a son, Kai, 17, with former partner Robert Fernandez – said: "I don’t want to be that person. I don’t want to hit that spiral.
"I love my little girl, getting into bed and watching movies. I’m so family orientated.
"How I’ve ended up here is a blessing in a way. I know If I’m in a vulnerable place now, rather than deal with it myself, I can actually ask someone for help."
