Dani Dyer: Love Island needs more diversity

Dani Dyer thinks ‘Love Island’ needs to introduce more diversity.
The 23-year-old actress is currently hosting the MTV dating programme ‘True Love or True Lies?’, which features couples of different sexualities, genders, and disabilities, and Dani feels ‘Love Island’ should follow suit.
The TV star – who appeared on the ITV show in 2018 – told Digital Spy: "I think it is all changing as well now. I just think that’s nice that ‘True Love or True Lies?’ have brought that as well. But I definitely think it’s gonna happen …"
Dani believes ‘Love Island’ will ultimately follow the example of the MTV show.
However, she isn’t sure when the change will take place.
She explained: "You can never say never. I’m not too sure, but you never know. I reckon so."
Meanwhile, Dani recently revealed that she’s moved in with childhood sweetheart and "best friend" Sammy Kimmence.
The former ‘Love Island’ winner – who split from ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham just months after they won the ITV dating show together – is happy with her new 23-year-old stockbroker beau, who she knew from growing up in Essex.
Dani – who is the daughter of actor Danny Dyer – said: "I knew him before, but there was this massive thing where we were together and stuff. I knew of him from friends, we got together, and he’s just been really nice …
"It sounds so weird [moving in together already], but it just works. You know when you’re with someone, and he’s like my best friend."
