Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham’s relationship will come under further threat tonight (24.07.18) as she tells the stationery salesman she "can’t be with a liar".
The ‘Love Island’ favourites suffered a setback in their bid to be crowned the show’s winners after Jack failed part of his lie detector test in last night’s (23.07.18) episode, leaving Dani fuming, and tonight Jack will question "what the point" is with their romance.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, he says: "Imagine you keep saying something to somebody and they’re telling you you’re wrong and you’re lying. Just giving me the hump.
"What is the point? Just going around in circles. I’ve said ‘mate, you’ve got nothing to worry about.’
"My head isn’t going to be turned, I’m not going to be tempted on the outside by any girls at all. It’s not going to happen.
"All I’m getting back is ‘oh no, you will.’ What do you want me to say then? ‘Oh yeah, I will be.’ I don’t understand it."
Following her clash with Jack, Dani admits she is concerned about him playing away when they get out of the villa.
Speaking to Laura Anderson and Alexandra Cane, she says: "I can’t be with a liar.
"Obviously with Jack, ever since I’ve been in here, you know, it hasn’t been easy the stuff I’ve always heard from the outside.
"His past, the girl that he was with was in here, she explained how he was to her and it was awful for me, it was not the Jack I knew.
"I completely get that I probably have changed Jack …everyone wants to be that girl. I want to be that girl when I get out of here, and have all that.
"I don’t want my boyfriend’s head to be turned. Does any girl?"
Speaking in the Beach Hut, Dani says: "I’m just so upset with him right now. I just think I’ve never had to walk away from a situation but he wasn’t listening to a word I had to say. He was just being so defensive of it all.
"I just want him to understand where I’m coming from. I’m p***ed off with him and I never am. I’m just hurt, I am hurt with Jack."
Jack seeks the advice of his pal Alex George, but doesn’t think he is in the wrong.
He says: "Do you know what mate, I’m just really upset and angry at how that went and I’ll tell you for why.
"She’s upset like, ‘Could you be tempted by other girls outside of here?’ All I can do is say to her ‘Dan, you’ve got nothing to worry about, let me show you.’ Which is what I kept saying.
"But she wasn’t having any of it. Do you know the thing that’s upset me the most right? She’s upset and having a go at me for something that hasn’t even happened yet."
In last night’s episode, the girls were able to ask the boys, who were hooked up to a lie detector, any questions they wanted.
Dani was furious after the machine said Jack was lying about not being tempted by other girls on the outside world.
