Dancing on Ice to lose 2 celebs next week

‘Dancing on Ice’ is set for a double elimination next week.
The skating show has been in full swing for just over a month now – losing one celebrity at a time from the competition – but bosses have decided to change things up for week six as they’re throwing in a shock twist which will see two stars get the boot.
Host Phillip Schofield said: "Next week our seven remaining couples take to the rink once more, no doubt they’ll have a few surprises for us. But right now, we’ve got a very big one for them. Next week, for the first time, there will be a double elimination. Two couples will leave the competition. Who will survive? Find out next week."
The brutal twist will leave five contestants remaining and, although Jake Quickenden – who has been the front runner all series – scored an impressive 33.5 out of a possible 40 for his routine, who makes the final is ultimately down to the public.
Good Morning Britain’s Alex Beresford has been working hard to climb up the leaderboard after he took a tumble on ice recently and, after perfecting the routine with his professional partner Brianne Delcourt, found himself in the second spot.
However, it’s not all about gains as the competition lost Lemar at the weekend after he scored a measly 20 out of 40 and was given the boot by the judges.
He said: "We just tried to concentrate on skating a bit more. It is what it is."
But judge Jason Gardiner thought his partner Melody Le Moal was to blame.
He explained: "I think you slipped again on this one, Melody. I liked the beginning but then it just didn’t continue.
"Lemar, I’ve asked you to really connect with the emotion of the movement. This is a piece where you really should’ve done that and you didn’t do it again this week."
