Dan Osborne proposed in front of Jacqueline Jossa’s family

Dan Osborne proposed to Jacqueline Jossa in front of her entire family.

The former ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star has revealed he gathered all of the ‘EastEnders’ actress’ relatives together while on their recent holiday in Greece to pop the question.

He said: "I wanted to do it in front of Jacqui’s friends and family because I know how much they mean to her."

The couple – who welcomed their daughter Ella into the world earlier this year – were celebrating Jacqueline’s sister Katrina’s wedding when he asked her to marry him.

Dan asked the bride to tell the family to meet in their hotel lobby for drinks and had a boat pull up to the balcony with a sign reading, ‘Will you marry me?’

He told Now magazine: "I told Katrina to ask for a group picture so that everyone had their backs to the water, so they couldn’t see the boat coming closer and closer, and then Katrina had to pass the ring behind her back to me.

"I said, ‘Oh, look at that boat,’ and when Jacqueline turned around, I was down on one knee with the ring."

However, the tattooed hunk – who also has 17-month-old son Teddy with ex-girlfriend Megan Tomlin – has confessed Jacqueline didn’t realise the sign on the boat was for her until she heard his nervous laughter.

Dan added: "She covered her face with her hands, she couldn’t believe it. She kept saying, ‘Oh my God, is this really happening?’ She was really confused how it was possible for me to keep it all so secret from her, as she’s so good at sussing things out. My knee was hurting so much! We stood cuddling for about five minutes after that."
