Dan Edgar almost quit TOWIE over Chloe Sims split

Dan Edgar almost quit ‘TOWIE’ over his break-up with Chloe Sims.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star has revealed that the fallout from his acrimonious split with Chloe, who he dumped in order to reconcile with his former girlfriend Amber Turner, left him considering his future on the show.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I admit I considered whether it was possibly time to move on from ‘TOWIE’ over the Chloe situation.
"I did think it was getting a bit heavy and maybe I should take some time out.
"It was a bit much for a few months but by the time we had our summer break I was in a good place and wanted to come back."
Dan also fell out with his close friends Pete Wicks and Diags over the split and admitted that he does regret some of his past behaviour.
He said: "Looking back of course I regret some of my behaviour. Looking back there are a lot of things I wish I had done differently but at the time I felt it was right and I stayed true to myself throughout.
"When I was with Chloe I still had a lot of feelings still for Amber and in hindsight I probably shouldn’t have got involved with Chloe feeling like that.
"Chloe hates me because of what’s happened and I get that. I would obviously like to mend the friendship at some point but at the moment I need to be respectful to the situation and Amber and stay away."
Chloe previously claimed she lost two stone after being humiliated by Dan, as she accused the reality television star of altering public perception of her.
She said: "He is not a bad person but the way he has gone about it and let the public think of me, I feel like he destroyed nine years of me building myself up to be transparent on TV. I feel like he might as well have got a bulldozer. The abuse I got every single day was ‘desperate, plastic s**g. Ugly’ – it was so bad. Every single day. I don’t care how strong you are. I lost nearly two stone. I was so skinny. It drove me mad. It was awful. I should have known better but I didn’t. I don’t know how I didn’t know but you just get blinded by handsome men!"
