Dakota Fanning has rekindled her romance with her high school sweetheart.
The 22-year-old actress has started dating commercial real estate broker Logan Markley, who she had a year-long relationship with when they were both students at North Hollywood’s Campbell Hall Episcopal High School in Los Angeles.
According to DailyMail.com: "Dakota and Logan have always been close and they dated for about a year in high school.
‘Logan recently split with his girlfriend so when Dakota split with Jamie [Strachan] they hooked up again. It’s early days but they couldn’t be happier."
Dakota recently revealed she and model Jamie Strachan had ended their three-year romance.
She added: "I was raised by very traditional Southern parents with Southern manners. You don’t air your dirty laundry to people that aren’t your family or your friends. Why would I ever want to portray myself as anything other than together?’
"The way I prefer to meet someone is through a friend [because that means the person] is most likely not a freak.
"I find dates, in general, horrific. We have to sit there and ask these questions and pretend to eat a meal, and it just feels so stiff."
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Dakota’s parents Steven and Heather Fanning have called off their divorce.
Steven filed to legally dissolve his 27-year marriage to wife Heather in November due to "irreconcilable differences", but had a change of heart one week later and had his petition dismissed.
Family sources told TMZ the couple do not want to "give up" on their marriage and plan to try and work their differences out.
