Daisy Wood-Davis’ boyfriend ‘nerves’

Daisy Wood-Davis doesn’t like sharing scenes with her boyfriend Luke Jerdy.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ stars have been dating for almost two years after getting together when the actor joined the soap and rekindled an old friendship, but have barely shared any screen time and they hope it stays that way.
Daisy – who plays lesbian nurse Kim Butterfield – said: "We’ve only had one or two scenes together, I get nervous. I don’t like it.
"I’m not used to behaving myself around him or being serious. He was at my [character’s] wedding to Esther."
And the 27-year-old actress admitted it can feel uncomfortable seeing Luke – who portrays two-timing hairdresser Jesse Donovan – kissing one of her friends on screen.
She said: "It’s a mixture. When it’s somebody I don’t know that well, I don’t think anything of it because we’re used to it.
"But when it’s a friend, I sometimes think it’s strange.
"Like when it’s Darcy [Aisling Jarrett-Gavin] or Courtney [Amy Conachan], it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s my friend kissing my boyfriend.’ "
Both Daisy and Luke are very happy on ‘Hollyoaks’ and have no plans to leave.
Daisy said: "We love the show and the people we work with.
"It’s like a family. As long as they’ve got stuff to write for us, we’re happy there."
However, they’d both like some time off to take part in their favourite reality shows.
Daisy told OK! magazine: "I’ve always wanted to do ‘Strictly’ because my mum wants me to.
"I come from a musical theatre background so I’d feel comfortable in that environment and learning new skills."
Luke added: "I’d love to do ‘Bear Grylls: The Island’ for the challenge and the achievement.
