Crosby, Stills and Nash are over

Crosby, Stills and Nash have split up.

Singer Graham Nash has confirmed the folk rock supergroup, will not be releasing anymore music or performing live together ever again after almost 50 years together, as the result of a bitter feud with his bandmate David Crosby.

He told Billboard magazine "There will never be another Crosby, Stills & Nash record or show. Right now, I don’t want anything to do with Crosby at all. It’s just that simple… I was letting Crosby be who he is. I let people play their hand in front of me, and I let him do it and then I make a decision."

The former Hollies frontman said David "ripped the heart" out of the ‘Helplessly Hoping’ hitmakers – which also included Stephen Stills and occasionally Neil Young – and said he’s "done" with the band..

He said: "F**k you. David has ripped the heart out of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young . How can I not be sad?

Look at the music we probably lost. How can I not be sad about that?

The truth is, after being totally immersed in me and David and Stephen and Neil’s music, I’m done. I’ve had 10 years of it. Leave me the f**k alone. I need to concentrate on me now."

The 74-year-old musician – who first met David in 1968 – says they are no longer friends after he sent him a number of "nasty" emails and admitted they haven’t been on the best of terms for two years now.

Explaining their explosive breakdown, he added to Dutch magazine Lust For Life: "I don’t like David Crosby right now. He’s been awful for me the last two years, just f**king awful I’ve been there and saved his f***ing ass for 45 years, and he treated me like s**t. You can’t do that to me. You can do it for a day or so, until I think you’re going to come around. When it goes on longer, and I keep getting nasty emails from him, I’m done."
