Craig David takes fans ‘on a journey’ through his career at War Child Brits Week gig

Craig David took his fans "on a journey" through his music career during his War Child BRITs Week 2017 concert on Thursday (16.02.17).
The 35-year-old singer wowed the audience at London’s O2 Academy Brixton last night as he performed his old hits including ‘Fill Me In’, as well as tracks from his newly released album ‘Following My Intuition’ after DJ Patrick Nazemi warmed up the crowd with his latest house and grime medleys.
Speaking during his set, the dark-haired hunk said: "I’m going to take you a journey" as he played almost all of his songs from his 18 years in the music industry, including the 2000 hit and his recent record ‘Nothing Like This’.
The ‘One More Time’ hitmaker also thanked his fans for being loyal to him despite his six-year hiatus in 2010 before he returned to the limelight with his LP last year.
Speaking to the crowd he said: "I want to thank all my fans for being with me from day one, it means a lot. And you’re still loving these songs in 2016."
Once the musician finished his show he took to social media to further show his appreciation to everyone who attended the gig.
He tweeted: "Thank You @WarChildUK for having me tonight. Thank you @PatrickNazemi @toniphillipsTP & everyone that made tonight so special #TS5 (sic)".
Ellie Goulding, Ashley Roberts and Vogue Williams were among guests who attended the event, and have praised the artist for his "incredible" performance.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Vogue said: "I love Craig David, he’s amazing. I have always loved him and have not got to see him since he’s came back.
"He’s so talented and his dj’ing is incredible, he’s really really good. Unbelievable."
Other artists scheduled to perform as part of BRITs Week with War Child include Biffy Clyro, The 1975, Richard Hawley, Paul Weller, Basement Jaxx, Wild Beasts, Rick Astley and Jack Savoretti.
