Craig David curbs partying to focus on comeback

Craig David’s drummer Ross Harris says Craig has curbed his partying to focus on his big comeback.
The 24-year-old percussionist – who toured with Take That last year drumming for their support act Ella Henderson – started working with the ‘7 Days’ hitmaker in January and has noticed how he’s become entirely engrossed in his music rather than partying non-stop.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Ross said: "Craig is quite focused, he doesn’t party too much at the moment – he’s had quite a few years of partying, so he’s focused and chilling out now making sure everything works and that the gigs and his comeback goes well."
Of the new music the garage star is working on, Ross said: "I’m not sure when he’s dropping his album but I think it will do quite well."
Craig, 34, is gearing up to release his LP ‘My Intuition’, his first album since 2010’s covers album ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’, which is yet to receive a release date.
Meanwhile, Ross will also be getting back on the road as the key sticksman for Ella.
He said: "Ella is doing her new album so we’re on hold for a while but we will be back out with her in the summer I think for a few festivals."
Ross – whose work can be viewed on YouTube – is also drummer for the UK’s Eurovision 2016 entry Joe and Jake.
