Courtney Love threatened to ‘beat up’ Kim Kardashian West’s robbers

Courtney Love promised Kim Kardashian West she would "beat up" the men who robbed her at gunpoint.
The 52-year-old rocker had been hanging out with the ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star just hours before the terrifying incident, which took place in Paris last month and saw her robbed of millions of dollars worth of jewellery, and she thinks her friend has been through a "horrible" ordeal.
She said: "I was sitting next to her at the Givenchy show and it happened an hour later. It’s so horrible. I just wrote her a letter and said, ‘If I find them I’ll beat them up. I’m so sorry.’ "
Courtney became friends with Kim – who has children North, three, and Saint, 11 months, with husband Kanye West – through their mutual pal Riccardo Tisci and while the Hole rocker admits a lot of people have been surprised by their bond, she thinks the 36-year-old beauty is just as "punk rock" as she is.
She told Refinery29: "There was a VIP after-party for Riccardo’s last collection in New York, and for a while, it was just me and Kim. We found out we had a whole lot of stuff in common: the same doctors, we’re both L.A. girls.
"Then, of course, we took a selfie, and my internet exploded. Like, ‘What are you doing? You’re punk rock!’ It’s like, she’s punk rock, too. She’s maybe not as willing to get up onstage and take off her top…"
The ‘Miss World’ singer – who has 24-year-old daughter Frances with late husband Kurt Cobain – thinks being a celebrity means not "looking like s**t" in the public eye.
She said: "I’m an actress and a singer, and a clothing designer, and an artist. And I write poetry. And I’m also a celebrity, which is really weird.
"[Is being a celebrity a job in itself?] Not really. It’s just like, you can’t look like s**t too much."
