Coronation Street’s Alya to be ‘busy working’ during Sair Khan’s I’m A Celeb stint

Coronation Street’s Alya Nazir will be "busy working" while Sair Khan is on ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The 30-year-old actress has been confirmed for the reality series and she has revealed ‘Corrie’ bosses have been hugely supportive of her decision to appear on the programme, and they have been busily re-arranging a few episode schedules to fit everything in.
Sair said: "Alya will be busy working."
The star is hoping she will depart the jungle with the nation knowing how to pronounce her name, because most people refer to her as "that girl from ‘Coronation Street’."
She added: "I don’t think my profile is very high. I am very much a normal girl who has a great job.
"If I come out and people know how to pronounce my name, then I will be happy with that. At the moment, most of the time it is ‘that girl from Coronation Street’. "
Sair admits she will return to work after having an "amazing experience" when her stint on the show comes to an end, but she doesn’t think she has any chance of being named Queen of the Jungle.
She added: "There is no chance I am going to win whatsoever.
"I don’t think it is about the winning. Just to be able to do those amazing trials is winning to me. This is a chance to do something different. There is no pressure on me.
"Afterwards I will go back to work having had an amazing experience."
