Coronation Street stars bombarded with messages ‘from foot fetishist’

A man with an "extreme foot fetish" is said to have bombarded several ‘Coronation Street’ stars with requests for toenail clippings and smelly socks.
Lucy Fallon – who plays Bethany Platt in the ITV soap – is said to have been one of the actresses who has been targeted by the mystery male, who has reportedly begged for a pair of Sally Ann Matthews’ (Jenny Bradley) stinky socks.
A Corrie insider said: "The male stalker has an extreme foot fetish and has been harassing a number of the cast for months.
"It’s vile. The cast were pretty weirded out by the whole thing at first, but now they are just trying to laugh it off.
"They all find it disgusting that anyone would want their toenails. He even asked if he could purchase a pair of Sally Ann’s old unwashed socks from her."
What’s more, the guy is said to have been willing to part with large amounts of cash in exchange for Sally’s stinkers.
The insider added to the Daily Star newspaper: "He was willing to pay good money too. It is utterly barmy."
‘Corrie’ stars – including the likes of Kate Ford (Tracy Barlow) – have been inundated with messages on social media, as well as via post to the soap’s Manchester studios.
Sally previously admitted super-fans have asked her numerous times if they can lick her tootsies.
She said: "If I had a pound for every time this guy has asked to lick my feet … it’s mad."
‘Coronation Street’ representatives said they would not comment.
