Conor Maynard doesn’t own a TV

Conor Maynard doesn’t own a television.
The 23-year-old singer has admitted he’s struggling to keep up to date with this year’s ‘The X Factor’ because he doesn’t have a small screen to watch it on but has heard loads about controversial wannabe rapper Honey G and wouldn’t rule out a collaboration with her in the future if she did go on to win the show next month.
Speaking exclusively to BANG showbiz at the opening night of ‘School of Rock – The Musical’ at the New London Theatre on Monday (14.11.16), he said: "Apparently ‘The X Factor’ is really good so far. I actually don’t even have a TV at the moment so it’s make it quite difficult to watch. I will hopefully catch up at some point. To be fair you don’t even need to watch it, you hear about it all online anyway, I’ve heard a lot about Honey G. Maybe I would collaborate with her [Honey G]. I could see that happening."
However, not everyone is on the same wavelength as Conor as Professor Green – whose real name is Stephen Manderson – is adamant he’d never do a duet with Honey as he thinks she’s just taking the "mickey" out of rap with her performances.
He said recently: "I don’t think she should be in the competition. I feel like she’s taking the right mickey – if I’m being honest – out of rap."
Meanwhile, Conor wasn’t the only star to grace the red carpet for the ‘School of Rock’ opening night, as Arlene Phillips, Michael McIntrye, Janet Street-Porter, ‘Our Girl’ hunk Ben Aldridge and composer of the show, Andrew Lloyd Webber were also there.
