Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson join Capital Summertime Ball line-up

Clean Bandit and Louisa Johnson will make their live debut together at Capital’s Summertime Ball.
The ‘Rather Be’ hitmakers and 18-year-old singer – who won ‘The X Factor’ last year with Rita Ora as her mentor –
have been added to the line-up for the annual music extravaganza on June 11 at London’s Wembley Stadium.
The news comes hot off the heels of the electronic pop outfit – comprised of Jack Patterson, Luke Patterson, Grace Chatto and Neil Amin-Smith – announcing they’ve recorded a new track with Louisa, which will be her first release since her single ‘Forever Young’, titled ‘Tears’.
The super-group will be performing their brand new song for the first time in front for 80,000 fans.
Meanwhile, the music event will also see Zayn make his live debut in the UK.
And it could be awkward as his former fiancée Perrie Edwards – whom he dumped via text following four years of dating last year – will be performing on the same day as him with her band Little Mix.
Ashley Tabor, founder & executive president of Global and managing editor of Capital previously revealed: "We’ve ended an incredible week on a high with the news that international superstar Zayn will be joining us for Capital’s Summertime Ball – his first stage performance in the UK as a solo artist. Zayn has taken the world by storm with his solo launch and is one of the most in demand artists right now. He’ll be performing his smash hit ‘Pillowtalk’, which is the first time he’s ever performed the song! We can’t wait to welcome Zayn to the stage at Wembley Stadium together with all the other huge acts for this summer’s biggest party!"
Clean Bandit and Louisa also join previously announced acts will.i.am, Nick Jonas, Jess Glynne, Sigala, WSTRN, Ariana Grande, Tinie Tempah, Zara Larsson, Lukas Graham, Years & Years, The Vamps, Sigala, Little Mix, Flo Rida, Nathan Sykes, Craig David and Mike Posner on the stage at Wembley Stadium.
Tickets are on sale now from www.capitalfm.com/summertime-ball
