Claudia Fragapane thinks she can win Strictly Come Dancing

Claudia Fragapane "really believes" she can win ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 19-year-old gymnast may have found herself in the dance-off last week against Judge ‘Robert’ Rinder – who ultimately got the boot – but she’s adamant she and her partner AJ Pritchard are still in with a chance of lifting the famous glitterball trophy.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the Pride of Sport Awards in London on Wednesday (07.12.16), she said: "Yeah I am really nervous for the final but I’m so grateful to still be on it and so thankful to everyone still supporting us. I really believe we can go all the way and I really believe we can make it to the final."
And AJ – who only joined the show as a professional dancer this year – has teased that him and Claudia will be pulling out all the stops with fancy props and quick feet in their show dance if they do manage to make it to the final next week.
He said: "It would be absolutely amazing (to win the show), but it’s all about Claudia. I’m just so proud of her, she’s been so amazing.
"If we do get to the final, the show dance is going to be absolutely amazing, she’s not going to even touch the floor and some of the props are going to be amazing."
However, the Olympian – who took part in the sporting event in Brazil over the summer – is still trying to get her head around this week’s dances.
AJ explained: "This week we’re learning two dances but it’s going really fantastically well. The only hard thing is just remembering everything.
"There are a few gymnastics splits in there and a few interesting moves so I’m keeping Claudia on her toes, I’m not making it easy for her."
Claudia added: "Remembering two dances is really tricky, we’re doing the rumba and the quickstep and both dances are really different, but I’m ready for the challenge."
