Claire King won’t return to Celebrity Big Brother

Claire King wouldn’t return to ‘Celebrity Big Brother – not even for a "million pounds."
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress agreed to enter the famous abode back in 2014 but her stint was somewhat short lived as she was forced to leave the house just two weeks in to the competition in order to receive medical attention and, although she didn’t get to experience the full thing, she is adamant she won’t go back in.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "No, I’d never return to ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, definitely not. For a million pounds? Probably not, but I’d need to see the terms and conditions, I don’t want to be carted off to hospital again."
Just under a decade before her stint in ‘CBB’ Claire decided to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ because she knew her arthritis would eventually prevent her from moving.
She explained: "Yeah, with dancing, and with my arthritis well I thought I won’t get much chance to do dancing for much longer. So that’s why I took on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ back in 2006, it was a long time ago, it wasn’t that popular back then."
And, although she’s done her fair share of reality TV shows, the 54-year-old star is adamant she’ll only take on a project if she can learn from the experience.
She said: "It’s one of those things you do when you get a good offer, and you think ‘I can learn something from that’ or it might be interesting, I wouldn’t do it for the sake of just doing one. I’d really like to do like a good British drama, you know."
