Chyna Ellis was reportedly being lined up to join ‘The Only Way is Essex’.
The ‘Love Island’ star has revealed she had been in talks with bosses of the reality TV show about joining the cast when the new series returns later this year and, although she’d jump at the chance for a cameo, the talks ended up coming to a halt.
Speaking to Johnny Seifert, celebrity producer at talkRADIO, Chyna said: "I mean, yeah. I have spoken to a few people about it.
"I know all of them (the cast). They live down the road from me. I live opposite Gemma Collins’ shop and Minnie’s Boutique, things like that. I’m always bumping into them. They’re all really nice. I’ve known a few of them for years. I’ll never say never. I’m always open to new things, meeting new people and new experiences. So we’ll have to wait and see on that one. But it’s not something on my radar."
The 23-year-old beauty’s love life has been the hot topic of conversation since she shot to fame on last year’s ‘Love Island’ when she kissed Kem Cetinay.
She then went on to date James Beattie and Jonny Mitchell, before striking up a relationship with Ibiza Weekender’s Jordan Davies.
However, their romance came crashing down last year when he became too much.
She said at the time: "He would come down to mine in Essex quite a lot and it got to the point where he was constantly coming to see me. It was just too much for me.m
"When you leave a reality show and the cracks start to show – it was the constant messaging every single day and it was just too much for me. There was no honeymoon period – it went straight into a full blown relationship. It was more on his part than mine. So I just told him a few times saying, ‘let’s keep it cool, let’s take it easy, take it slow’. He did say at one point he wanted to marry me and I thought ‘wow’. And he did all these cute little things and it was too much for such little time. He’s very persistent and I don’t think he got the hint. Don’t get me wrong I did like him."
