Chuck Mosley dies

Former Faith No More star Chuck Mosley has died.
The singer – who was fired from the band in 1988 – passed away at the age of 57 on Thursday (09.11.17) from addiction-related reasons after a long period of sobriety.
His family released a statement through his publicist which read: "After a long period of sobriety, Charles Henry Mosley III lost his life, on November 9th, 2017, due to the disease of addiction.
"We’re sharing the manner in which he passed, in the hopes that it might serve as a warning or wake up call or beacon to anyone else struggling to fight for sobriety.
"He is survived by long-term partner Pip Logan, two daughters, Erica and Sophie and his grandson Wolfgang Logan Mosley.
"The family will be accepting donations for funeral expenses. Details to follow when arranged."
Chuck joined his first band, The Animated, in 1979 and moved on to Faith No More in 1983.
He sang on their first two albums, ‘We Care A Lot’ in 1985 and 1987’s ‘Introduce Yourself’ but was replaced by Mike Patton in 1988.
Check sued the group after his firing, claiming he had a partnership stake in the band, and the case was settled out of court.
He moved on to join a version of hardcore band Bad Brains, and also formed funk-metal group Cement, as well as releasing a number of solo albums.
Last year, he reunited with Faith No More for a number of shows.
