Christine Lampard wants kids

Christine Lampard would "love" to have children of her own.
The 37-year-old television presenter has admitted she’d like nothing more than to start a family with her husband Frank Lampard, whom she married last year, but is enjoying being a step mother to his two girls Luna, 11, and Isla, nine, whom he has with his ex- fiancée Elen Rivas, until the right time comes along for them to start trying for a baby.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ on Thursday (01.12.16), Christine – who was hosting the programme – said: "I’m 37 but in my head I’m about 23/24. Of course you have to get your head around that biologically you can’t have babies forever. I certainly would love to have children. I think with Frank having two little girls, you’ve got a strange sense of motherhood without being mummy but it is a wonderful thing. There are no grandchildren in my family at all so I know my mum and dad would secretly love it. They’d never put pressure on us but I know they’d secretly adore it."
And, although she’s not thinking about it too much yet, Christine is open to the idea of IVF – a technique used to help people with fertility problems – in the future.
She explained: "I would probably [have IVF]. I have very close friends that have gone down that road (IVF) and I know it can be incredibly difficult, you go through various rounds and they don’t work, it can be very stressful for couple.
"It’s one of those things where you just think, ‘Well, I’ll put my trust in whatever it is up there.’ But if you’re told you’re can’t, then that’s when I think I’ll go down that route. I’ve had a very good trial period of him and I know he’ll be a great dad."
