Christina Applegate says she’s "more manly" than her ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues’ co-stars.
The 42-year-old actress reprises her role as Veronica Corningstone in the comedy where she stars opposite Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner and insists they’re all "softies".
She said: "These guys are all softies. No machos on this set. I never felt that I was in need of a support group for women. I felt very comfortable with these guys on set. I probably have more manly qualities than most of those guys."
Applegate admits it was hard not to break into laughter on set while she was working with the hilarious guys.
She added: "It wasn’t easy [not to laugh], I can tell you that. But at some point you have to remember that you are a professional, and that you need to keep it together. I think I ruined a lot of takes, maybe they’ll put those on the DVD, so people can experience how much fun we really had."
