Christina Aguilera "felt so much love" at her baby shower last weekend.
The 33-year-old singer, who is expecting a baby girl with her fiancé, Matthew Rutler, celebrated the impending arrival of her second child with 50 close friends at a ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’ themed bash at her stylist’s home in Los Angeles on Saturday (26.07.14).
A source told PEOPLE magazine: "It was a really beautiful, fun night. Everybody gave toasts and Christina gave a speech about how she felt so much love. She thanked everyone for supporting her and said how excited she was to have a baby girl. It was a really sweet night."
The ‘Voice’ USA mentor, who already has a six-year-old son, Max, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, wore a figure-hugging white maxi dress and romantic flower wreath in her hair for the whimsical party, where guests played traditional games and sipped on pink Veuve rosé champagne and organic fruit juice before tucking into a delicious cake.
The ‘Your Body’ hitmaker is also preparing for another major celebration later this year, as she will reportedly marry Matthew in December and is still scouting for an exotic location for their nuptials.
An insider recently said: "They love Hawaii, where they got engaged, but Christina is worries about privacy, so they might rent a private island."
