Chrissy Metz has split from her boyfriend.
The ‘This Is Us’ actress’ romance with Hal Rosenfeld – who she started dating in late 2018 – came to an end earlier this year and, according to the New York Post newspaper’s Page six column, she’s now ready to date again.
Chrissy was previously married to journalist Martyn Eaden from 2005 to 2013 and then dated cameraman Josh Stancil before finding love with Hal.
The former couple made their red carpet debut at the 2019 Golden Globe awards, but speculation began swirling in the winter that their romance had hit the rocks.
The 39-year-old star previously admitted she had once dabbled in online dating but snubbed one planned meet after catching a glimpse of the guy she had been messaging and deciding against going ahead.
She said: "I have not been ghosted, however, there was a gentleman years ago, when it was like not even cool to talk about that you met online. Like, you don’t mention it. And I didn’t…I didn’t, until now.
"And this guy and I agreed to meet, and I think we exchanged one or two pictures. And we’re like, OK, we’ll meet at this bar, at this time. And so literally I park my car, and I’m walking, he’s walking, we see each other and we’re like…neeee [veer off]. We didn’t need to waste time, you know like, we already figured it out. We knew. Energetically it was not right for me."
Despite the years that have passed since her marriage ended, Chrissy is still on good terms with her ex-husband.
She previously said: "I was previously married to an amazing man, we’re still friends, but it’s not something that… I want to figure out what’s going on. This needs to be about me and I, of course, can have a healthy relationship — but I’m not in any rush to get married."
